Comments on The Lamb Strikes Back!
I'm happy to see the Merc sit down and have a discussion on Matt Davis' article. Wish there was more and greater representation in the podcast from regular vegans out there.
Always good to see discourse created over an issue, especially over the needless killing animals.
One thing I don't think was really addressed was why the article was a cover article. I assume the choice was made by Marjorie Skinner? If so I wish she would have talked more about her thinking behind making this a cover story...Is it just literally 'if it bleeds it leads?'
Either way. Commendable to covering the issues around the article. So Thanks.

While the decision to put the article on the cover isn't particularly mine, I do think that's where it belongs. There are clearly too many things concerning it to be discussed in a half-page food article, and it wouldn't be very appropriate squeezed between a few music reviews or in the fine arts section.
