This week marks the triumphant return of So Hot Right Now, and we can’t think of anyone more fresh to kick off this week’s show than Atole. Mike swears by Atole! Their other group, Do N Dudes, played at the Mercury’s “Cover Your Ass” benefit show, which Mike got really, REALLY wasted at. He says he remembers two things about that night: “Manny’s fuckin’ awesome stage performance, and being very hungry.” For Mike to have remembered ANYTHING from that night is really saying something.
The good news is, Mike’s going to get a chance to fill in the blanks from that show this Saturday at Holocene, where Atole is playing at a shindig called The Get Down.
What: The Get Down
Who: DJs Copy, Linoleum, Linger & Quiet + Live Dance Sets by Atole & Arohan
When: Saturday, August 18th, 9pm
Where: Holocene
So come out this Saturday to Holocene for a very memorable night! Even if you get retarded on the Crown & Cokes, we guarantee you’ll walk in to Holocene, a sober man, and walk out a drunk Atole fan.
Enjoy the perfectly crafted Atole mix, and we’ll see you this Saturday.
