So Hot Right Now Presents Gordito & Lebowski

Mike Williams says, “What do you want me to do? I’m sorry! Y’all know I just can’t leave y’all like that. So Hot Right Now returns, and we’re better than ever with the fresh to death Swedish duo, Gordito & Lebowski. Sweden is a land forever stereotyped in my mind as the place that inspired the Swedish Bikini Team and brought us the unmistakable style of home furnishing from Ikea. Oddly, this mix does nothing to further me from that stereotype. Gordito & Lebowski have a style so clean and so sexy there’s only one place on earth it could come from. Fuck it. Let’s go to Sweden!”
Clean mix, sexy interview, and fresh tracklist after the jump.

Who are Gordito and Lebowski?
Gordito/Lebowski are post-war kid Hasan "Gordito" Ramic and post-rock kid Jonas "Lebowski" Källgren, 27 and 29.
Throw your hood up. (Where y'all from?)
We both live in Örebro City, aka Pennybridge, but Hasan originally hail from Sarajevo, Bosnia, The Badlands. Jonas spent his early childhood chasing polar bears up north (Örebro lies in mid-south Sweden) and most of his twenties in Stockholm (Swedish capital), but now he's back in Örebro.
...If you've ever heard of Örebro before, it's probably through the skatepunks in Millencolin ("Pennybridge Pioneers").
What are y'all doing these days? Throwing all night parties? Fending off groupies?
The party part is dead on, both of us run clubs and DJ at different spots in Pennybridge, but since we're in a small town (like 95,000 in the city, 125,000 in the county) the groupie factor is annoyingly small. Nobody thinks you're cool since everybody kind of know you, or think they know all about you, so we spend more time fending off false rumours and guest list mooches than groupies. It sucks!
With so much talent out these days, who do y'all look to for inspiration?
Hasan: Aw man, that's a tough one. As far as DJing goes Jazzy Jeff has been a major inspiration for me. He's eclectic and opend minded, and if you're gonna rock a party that's what it takes. Then there's inspiration everywhere, every second you live, every person you meet and avery conversation you have can inspire you to do great things, so except for Jazzy Jeff, I draw inspiration from life. Haha!
Jonas: I never had any "real" DJ heroes, since I started DJing as an indie kid spinning indie music. But as you said, there is so much talent these days (thanks, Internet!) that everyday I'm stumbling upon something really good. Of course the recent year I've mostly been hailing Justice DJ-gigs, MSTRKRFT remixes and the powertrio of Lifelike/Alan Braxe/Kris Menace.
What's next for G&L?
More mixtapes, more remixes, getting our own songproducing routine up and running, doing more gigs... We mean Ibiza, Dubai, The States... Or as Leonard Cohen didn't sing it - first we took Örebro, then we take Berlin, and then we take PORTLAND... WORLD DOMINATION, BABY!
