Matt,
I'm trying to wrap my brain around the fact that you must be older than me if you witnessed the frat boy phenomena of Rock the Casbah. That album came out when I was 17 (I'll let you all do the math).

It's just that I didn't think The Merc let anybody over the age of 30-32 in the front door of their offices.

Anyway, this was my first listen to Pure Pod and I loved it and your selection of Clash songs. Thanks, I'll now listen to some more.

Magsy is early 20's, I am old enough to be her WAY older brother who's parents made a "mistake". It was originally started as a show called "metamucil music" for older people but it caught on.
Thanks for the listen, welcome aboard! We hang our hat on episode 40 where we interview Bob Mould. Actually bollocks to that, if you are in my age group then you can pretty much find the Clash, XTC, Elvis Costello, etc. etc. or that ilk in most of our episodes.

Dear Matt and Magsy,

Sarah's Fifteenth Christmas. You've got to believe in Christmas Matt. Deb and I thought it would be good to introduce her to THE CLASH. Well, maybe I thought so, but no complaints from Deb. London Calling. No complaints from Sarah. Her appreciation, and better yet, many of her classmates began to think that maybe her parents weren't such prudes after all.
